13-Day Uganda – Kenya & Tanzania (gorilla-big 5) Combo

Arrive at Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport, to start this grant tour through East Africa. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will then transfer you to your booked hotel within Entebbe Town. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. You will spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, depart your hotel and head to the docking area for a sail to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. This Sanctuary is home to 52 rescued from bad situations such as poaching, illegal pet trade, or orphaned chimpanzees. You will visit this sanctuary for opportunities to learn about Chimpanzees, their behaviors, conservation challenges, and other efforts of chimpanzee conservation. After your half-day guided tour at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, you will boat a boat for a sail back to the mainland. You will then drive back to your hotel where you will be having lunch. After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon adventure to the Uganda Wildlife Education Center. At the Wildlife Education Center, you will enjoy viewing different wildlife species native to Uganda – you will see lions, giraffes, chimpanzees, and various bird species.

Later return to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Wake up early at your lodge and have breakfast. After breakfast, depart your lodge and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The long drive is a great way to witness the charming beauty of the countryside as you will get a chance to witness the rolling hills and stunning greenery. You will have a short stop at the equator for pictures and later continue with your journey to Bwindi. Arrive in the late afternoon and proceed with a drive to your booked safari lodge.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast before you embark on the trek. After breakfast, depart for gorilla trekking at the park’s headquarters. You will join a group of other trekkers at the headquarters for a briefing session. After the briefing, you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek – you with a group of other seven members will then embark on your gorilla trekking experience in the park. You will navigate through challenging terrain and thick vegetation cover until you locate your allocated gorilla family. After trekking for a while in the forest, your ranger guide will inform you when you advance to gorillas. He will then guide you on how you will approach the gorilla family and what to do while with the gorillas. Enjoy this exclusive 60 minutes with the gorillas in the wild, take as many pictures and videos at this moment. Gorillas share DNA with humans, you will witness a lot like us humans in them. You will see these primates as they feed, play, and groom their young ones. After your trek, your driver guide will take you back to your lodge where you will be able to refresh and relax.

An afternoon tour around the park visiting communities can be arranged (optional).

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart your lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be enjoying your next adventure on this . You will arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon and proceed to your booked safari lodge. At your lodge, you will have breakfast and a short rest before you embark on your first adventure in the park. After lunch, embark on an evening game drive for opportunities to spot different wildlife species in the park. Some of the species that you are likely to see while here include lions, leopards, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, elephants, various antelope species, and a diversity of birdlife. After your afternoon adventure in the park, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart your lodge and embark on a transfer back to Entebbe. Arrive at Entebbe in the late afternoon and board a flight to Kenya. upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your driver guide will welcome you and transfer you to your booked hotel in Nairobi.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, embark on an adventure around Nairobi City. Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, located in Nairobi. You will also visit the giraffe center where you will enjoy interacting with the endangered Rothschild giraffes. You will adventure Nairobi with an opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique culture of Kenya at the Bomas of Kenya. After your morning adventure, return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, embark on another adventure in Nairobi, visiting the Karen Blixen Museum and the Nairobi snake park among others.

Later in the evening return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Nairobi.

This journey takes you through the scenic countryside, along the way you will enjoy viewing the stunning landscapes and natural beauty of Kenya. Arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch and proceed to your booked lodge. Arrive at the lodge and check-in, embark on your first adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a thrilling game drive for opportunities to spot various wildlife species and birdlife. Masai Mara National Reserve is popular for its large populations of wildlife including the famous African Big Five species. You will enjoy sighting lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, African Wild Dogs, warthogs, and various antelope species of Antelopes. Enjoy your game drive in the golden savannas of the Mara.

Today you will spend your entire day adventuring the stunning Mara plains for opportunities to spot from the famous African Big Five Animals to the world-renowned wildebeest migration. Your experienced drive guide will take you to some of the popular wildlife hotspots in Masai Mara to grant you opportunities to spot different wildlife species. Enjoy viewing lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, African Wild Dogs, warthogs, and various antelope species of Antelopes on your safari vehicle. You will have a lunch break in between the drive, and enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot in the Reserve.

Start your day early in the morning with a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge. Depart for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park. Today you will visit the world’s renowned Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural wonder. The crater floor is famous for its large population of wildlife including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and cheetahs among others.

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart your lodge and drive to Ngorongoro. Arrive in Ngorongoro and proceed with a wildlife-watching safari tour. Descend into the crater floor for opportunities to encounter various wildlife species. After your evening adventure return to the lodge.
