Saadani National Park is a one of a kind paradise with unique ecosystem where beach life meets wilderness. The name Saadani has a close link to the Arab settlement in the area during the 19 Century. Located in the centre of the historic triangle of Bagamoyo, Pangani and Zanzibar, Saadani National Park covers 1100km square. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania bordering the sea. The climate is coastal, hot and humid. It offers a unique combination of both marine and mainland flora and fauna in a culturally fascinating setting. About 30 species of larger mammals are present as well as numerous reptiles and birds. Besides many species of fish (over 40), green turtles, humpback whales and dolphins occur in the ocean nearby.

Pick you up at the airport or hotel in Dar es Salaam, then drive to Saadani National Park. On your arrival at Saadani National Park go for a game drive - back for lunch in the afternoon - later continue with the game viewing till evening back to our accommodations. Early morning you will be picked up at your room and go for a game drive, then back for breakfast, later we continue with the game drive, while in the evening we go for a boat safari adventure across the Wami river. Saadani National Park offers a unique experience combining game drives and boat safaris while game drives allow you to spot wildlife like elephants, lions, and buffalo, while boat safaris on the Wami River provide a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous birds.
