We will leave Arusha/Moshi/airport (depending on your preference) early morning and travel to Serengeti National Park. We will travel to Serengeti on a road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing for animal sightings along the way.
The golden savannah and endless plains, teeming with zebras, wildebeest and giraffes make it easy to understand why the Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. On this day, we will enjoy a picnic lunch on Naabai kopje (a small, rocky hill in a generally flat area), where you will have the opportunity to view the Serengeti’s famous pink-headed lizards. After lunch, we will proceed further into the plains for a leisurely game drive. You will spend the night at.
We will begin the day in heart of the Serengeti. The animals found in the Serengeti are extremely diverse so visitors will likely enjoy views of lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, water buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest. In addition, elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffe, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos and antelopes are all found within the park. Don’t worry about the time of year of your safari, because there are animals within the Serengeti all year! After the game drive, a delectable dinner will be served at.
This day marks the last day of game drive in Serengeti before we make our way to Ngorongoro Crater. After an exciting game drive full of animal sightings and a picnic lunch, we will drive to the Crater. This night we will stay at Simba Camp, overlooking the unbroken caldera of Ngorongoro Crater. The views of the sunset over the savannah are absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of adventuring, guests will enjoy a tasty dinner prepared by our friendly cook.
You’ll begin your day early, waking up around 5:30 AM for a hearty breakfast before descending into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a true natural wonder, and during your game drive on the crater floor, you’ll have the chance to see all of the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos—along with a variety of bird species, including the iconic flamingos that flock to the crater’s soda lakes.
As you explore the crater, you’ll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch amidst the wildlife, taking in the breathtaking surroundings. The abundance of animals in this compact ecosystem is extraordinary, with many species concentrated in one area, making for an unforgettable wildlife experience.
After a 6- to 7-hour game drive, you’ll begin your ascent from the crater, heading back to the Lodge/ campsite. Once there, you’ll pack your belongings into the jeep before making your way back to Arusha. If you're catching a flight, you'll head to Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for your departure, bringing this incredible safari experience to a close. 4 Days Tanzania Sharing Safari
This tour is offered by;
Booked a 4-day safari encompassing Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Were very responsive in all communication from the first contact and Salim, our tour designer, managed to book a custom package in accordance with our wishes on a very short notice. The accommodation was excellent throughout. Livingstone, our driver and guide, was simply phenomenal - he knows literally everything about the area and its flora and fauna and seemed to have a sixth sense about where to find the different species of animals.
Consequently, the tour never had a dull moment as there was always something new to see. We might have been lucky, but during a relatively short safari we saw cheetahs, leopards, lions, rhinos and a crocodile as well as the more numerous elephants, zebras and impalas. A particularly nice touch (which others have mentioned) is the warm lunch, which we enjoyed using metal plates, goblets and cutlery so no concerns about plastic waste :) In short - Budget Safaris Tanzania are professionals from start to finish and we had the trip of a lifetime.
