Your safari begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a full game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes as you search for lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many other wildlife species gathered along the Tarangire River. After an exciting afternoon of game viewing, continue to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands. Enjoy breathtaking views along the way before descending onto the vast Serengeti plains. Upon arrival, begin your afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s rich wildlife lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and countless grazing animals that roam the endless savannah. Later, head to your lodge or campsite inside the park for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive across the vast plains of the Serengeti, taking in the incredible wildlife and landscapes as the sun rises. Mid-morning, depart the Serengeti and begin your scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Along the way, you may stop at viewpoints or Maasai cultural sites (optional), before entering the highlands surrounding the crater. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge perched on the crater rim, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich habitats in Africa. Explore the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, black rhinos, buffaloes, hippos, abundant birdlife, and diverse ecosystems ranging from open grasslands to acacia forest and soda lakes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot inside the crater before continuing your wildlife viewing in the afternoon.
Later, ascend the crater walls and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
