After breakfast in Arusha, you set out on a drive of about two hours to reach Tarangire. The park is known for its sweeping savannah dotted with giant baobab trees and its large elephant herds. Your first game drive introduces you to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators that roam the plains.
