Early morning departure from Addis Ababa and drive southeast through the scenic landscapes of the Ethiopian Great Rift Valley toward the Bale Mountains.
Upon arrival at Dinsho, the headquarters of Bale Mountains National Park, complete the park entrance formalities and obtain the required permits. Continue with a game drive through the Gaysay Grasslands, an excellent area for observing some of the park's wildlife, including Ethiopian mountain nyala, Menelik's bushbuck, warthogs and other highland species.
Continue driving to Robe, the main town in the Bale Mountains region. Relax and enjoy the evening after the day's journey.
After breakfast, drive toward Web Valley, one of the most remarkable wildlife areas of Bale Mountains National Park and an important habitat for the endangered Ethiopian wolf.
The Web Valley offers spectacular highland scenery, open grasslands and an excellent opportunity to search for Ethiopian wolves in their natural environment. Your guide will assist with wildlife tracking and exploration while you enjoy the dramatic mountain landscapes.
Spend the night at the Web Valley campsite, surrounded by the wilderness of the Bale Mountains.
After breakfast, continue your journey through the spectacular Sanetti Plateau, one of the highest plateaus in Africa.
The route offers breathtaking views of the Bale Mountains and further opportunities to observe Ethiopian wolves and other high-altitude wildlife. Continue toward Tulu Dimtu, the highest peak in the Bale Mountains and one of Ethiopia's most impressive highland landmarks.
From the high plateau, descend toward the magnificent Harenna Forest, one of the largest remaining forests in Ethiopia. The landscape changes dramatically from open alpine grasslands to dense montane forest, creating an unforgettable contrast.
After breakfast, drive back toward the Sanetti Plateau for another dedicated Ethiopian wolf expedition and trekking adventure.
Spend the day exploring the high-altitude landscape on foot, searching for Ethiopian wolves and enjoying the unique flora, wildlife and panoramic scenery of the Bale Mountains.
The Sanetti Plateau provides an exceptional setting for photography, wildlife observation and trekking. Your experienced guide will select suitable areas according to weather and wildlife conditions.
Wake up early for a final morning hike and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Sanetti Plateau. After returning to camp, have breakfast and begin the drive back toward Addis Ababa.
The journey continues through Adama, an important city in the Great Rift Valley, before proceeding to Addis Ababa.
