Day 1: Machame Gate (1,800m) to Machame Camp (3,000m)

After registration at the park gate, trek through dense rainforest filled with unique flora and fauna.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,840m)

Hike through moorland terrain with spectacular views of Kibo Peak.

Day 3: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp (3,960m) via Lava Tower

Acclimatization day. Climb to Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp (4,640m

Climb the famous Barranco Wall and continue across alpine desert terrain.

Day 5: Summit Day – Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) then descend to Mweka Camp

Final preparation for summit night. Early dinner and rest.

Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Departure

Midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak for sunrise. After celebration and photos, descend to Mweka Gate for transfer back to your hotel.
