On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha town. You can relax after your flight, enjoy the hotel garden or pool, and prepare for your safari starting the next day. If you arrive early, optional town tours or cultural visits can be arranged.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your safari guide and drive about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its large elephant herds and beautiful baobab trees. You’ll enjoy your first game drive, watching for elephants, giraffes, lions, and many birds. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive to a nearby campsite for dinner and overnight stay in your dome tent.
After an early breakfast, you’ll leave camp and drive toward Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands, with beautiful views along the way. Once you enter Serengeti, you’ll enjoy a game drive en route to your campsite. Look out for wildebeests, zebras, lions, and maybe even cheetahs or leopards. A picnic lunch will be served during the day. In the evening, arrive at your campsite deep inside the Serengeti and enjoy dinner at camp.
Start your day with a sunrise game drive, when animals are most active. You might see lions hunting, or hyenas returning to their dens. After the morning drive, return to camp for breakfast, then continue exploring different areas of the park. The Serengeti is rich with wildlife and every game drive is a new experience. After a picnic lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading back to camp for your final night in the Serengeti.
After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a short morning game drive as you leave Serengeti. You'll pass back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and head to your campsite near the crater rim. On the way, you’ll stop for a picnic lunch and have the option to visit a Maasai village (optional, not included) Arrive at your Ngorongoro campsite in the late afternoon. After dinner, you can relax and prepare for your descent into the crater the next day.
After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to an amazing variety of animals, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, hippos, and rhinos. After exploring the crater floor and enjoying your picnic lunch, you'll continue to Lake Manyara for a short game drive (if time allows). Later in the afternoon, you’ll begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving by early evening. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, ending your safari.
