Today you will drive from Mto WA Mbu to Lake Natron. The lake is highly known as one of the largest breeding sites for the lesser flamingos who are attracted to the saltiness of the lake. Wild and remote Lake Natron lies in the northeast of Tanzania between the Ngorongoro Highlands and Serengeti plains.

Here it is the landscape rather than the animals that is the attraction the area around the lake inhabited by Maasai is dry, desolate, and hauntingly beautiful.

Immediately after breakfast, the drive from Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park will start. You will pass through the Klein’s Gate North Serengeti for a game drive.

The great migration is the largest movement of the herbivores on the planet. The movement includes over 1.5 million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles in a continuous circle through the Serengeti Maasai Mara ecosystem in search of green pasture. The movement is always accompanied by hungry predators including lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, and crocodiles making only the stronger ones survive.

Today you will have the full-day game drive in the plains of the Serengeti. The morning game drive will start as early as possible whereby at this time Serengeti plains is more active and a great time to spot a lot of animals and birds.

Currently, animals and birds are awakening, predators hunting for prey, and are herbivorous feeding on grass. This becomes a great time to spot many animals and observe real adventures such as animal hunting and take the best pictures for good memories.

The full-day game drive will take place in the endless plains of Serengeti as the search for different species takes place in the morning and the afternoon game drive.

Breakfast at 6:30 am will give you a chance for a smooth drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro conservation area for a game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro crater was formed over a million years ago.

The crater is famous for having an independent ecosystem, which offers it a diversity of species that you will see as you drive inside the crater. The lunch will be taken at the picnic site in the crater, then you will drive to Karatu overnight.
