Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

After registration at Londorossi Gate, drive to the Lemosho trailhead and begin your trek through the lush rainforest. Watch for black-and-white colobus monkeys and enjoy the rich vegetation before arriving at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

Leave the rainforest behind and hike across moorland with beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Reach Shira 1 Camp, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Barranco Camp (via Lava Tower)

Continue across the Shira Plateau toward Lava Tower (4,630 m), where you stop for lunch and acclimatization. Descend to Barranco Camp, following the "climb high, sleep low" principle to help your body adjust to the altitude.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Start the day by climbing the famous Barranco Wall. Continue through valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp. This shorter hiking day allows for better acclimatization and rest before the summit push.

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Hike through alpine desert to Barafu Camp, your base camp for the summit attempt. After an early dinner, rest and prepare your gear for the midnight ascent.

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, then Mweka Camp

Around midnight, begin the challenging summit climb. Reach Stella Point and continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement, then descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Mweka Camp for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Enjoy your final descent through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate, say goodbye to your mountain crew, and transfer back to your hotel to celebrate your successful Kilimanjaro adventure.
