Arrival and transfer to Machame Gate (1,800m). After registration, begin the trek through lush rainforest to Machame Camp (3,000m). The hike takes approximately 5–7 hours and offers the first views of Kilimanjaro's diverse ecosystems.
Trek from Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,840m). The trail leaves the rainforest and enters the moorland zone, providing spectacular views of Kibo Peak and the Shira Plateau. Hiking time is approximately 4–6 hours.
Continue from Shira Camp to Lava Tower (4,630m) for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp (3,960m). This important acclimatization day follows the "climb high, sleep low" principle and helps improve summit success. Hiking time is approximately 6–8 hours.
Climb the famous Barranco Wall and continue through valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp (4,035m). The day offers stunning views of glaciers and surrounding landscapes. Hiking time is approximately 4–5
Trek from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,640m), the base camp for the summit attempt. Arrive in the afternoon, rest, and prepare for the overnight ascent to Uhuru Peak. Hiking time is approximately 3–4 hours.
Begin the summit ascent shortly after midnight. Reach Stella Point and continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Mweka Camp (3,100m). This is the most challenging and rewarding day of the trek.
Descend through the rainforest from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate before transferring back to your hotel. The trek concludes with unforgettable memories of standing on the roof of Africa.
