You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30 AM and depart for Tarangire National Park, carrying a picnic lunch for an exciting full-day game drive. As Tanzania’s third-largest national park, Tarangire is renowned for its ancient baobab trees that dominate the landscape, creating a dramatic backdrop for wildlife viewing.
The life-giving Tarangire River is the heart of the park and attracts large concentrations of animals, especially during the dry season. Tarangire is particularly famous for hosting some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. During your game drive, you may encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras.

Thank you for choosing Revelation Adventure Safaris. On the final day of your safari, you will begin early with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:30 AM. Often described as the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, the crater features a vast floor covering approximately 260 square kilometers and plunging more than 2,000 feet deep, creating one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens.
You will enjoy a 5-hour game drive on the crater floor, where wildlife sightings are frequent and exciting—so be sure to keep your camera ready. The area is home to an impressive concentration of animals, including African elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions, all thriving within this natural sanctuary.
After a scenic picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, you will begin the steep ascent back to the rim of the crater. This marks the final leg of your safari adventure, followed by a 4-hour drive back to Arusha.
