After an early breakfast, you'll descend over 600?meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a year-round sanctuary sustained by abundant water and rich grazing. The crater is home to vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants, alongside a dense population of predators including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. You'll visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, where flamingos, hippos, and other water birds gather. In the late afternoon, you will transfer back to Arusha for an airport drop-off.
