Embark on your journey from Moshi to Umbwe Gate, followed by a scenic climb through the lush Montane Forest. Our destination, Umbwe Cave Camp, offers a serene setting to rest and rejuvenate.
After breakfast, venture through the forest to ascend towards the open moorland of Barranco Camp. Along the way, soak in the breathtaking scenery and immerse yourself in the semi-desert habitat.
Continue your ascent, traversing the steep ridge up the Barranco Wall to reach Karanga Camp. Experience the rugged beauty of the Alpine Desert as you journey through this awe-inspiring landscape.
Climb onward to Barafu Camp, the culmination of the South Circuit, where you’ll prepare for the final push to the summit. Take in panoramic views and savor a hearty meal before your summit bid.
Begin the summit ascent in the early hours, navigating through challenging terrain towards Stella Point. Witness the breathtaking sunrise before pushing on to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
