Great Migration Safari

Great Migration Safari

This 8-day tour takes you to the famous northern circuit parks. You spend 4 days in the Serengeti, the largest and recognized for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebras. Then, the tour goes to the Ngorongoro Crater, an absolute highlight, with beautiful landscapes and easy game viewing. Finally, the tour goes to Tarangire National Park, smaller than the Serengeti but famous for its large elephant herds. The tour ends with a short hike to the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Tarangire is known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees and boasts the country's most significant number of elephants! You will encounter these giants up close and observe the interaction between elephant families. We will follow reported animal sightings as we do a game drive. There are plenty of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. The predators (lions, cheetahs, and leopards) are more difficult to spot. Later, we will go to the river picnic site and enjoy the beautiful river view and animals while having lunch. Keep an eye out for small monkeys and baboons that will try to scare you and take your lunch! They are, however, nothing to worry about.
