Your adventure begins with an 8:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you'll embark on an exciting full-day game drive through the park's diverse landscapes.
Tarangire is located 115 km from Arusha and spans approximately 2,800 km². It's named after the Tarangire River, a vital water source that draws wildlife during the dry season. The park is renowned for its massive herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and the rare tree-climbing pythons. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and a wide array of bird species.
As the day winds down, you’ll head to Fig Tree Lodge, where a delicious dinner and comfortable overnight stay await.

Your day begins with an early wake-up at 6:30 AM for breakfast before heading to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—the largest unbroken and inactive volcanic caldera on Earth.
Descending to the crater floor, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich regions in Africa. This natural sanctuary is home to all members of the Big Five, including the elusive black rhino. Along the way, you’ll also spot large populations of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, lions, elands, and an impressive variety of birdlife—including vibrant flocks of flamingos near the crater’s soda lakes.
After a day of unforgettable wildlife encounters, you’ll ascend from the crater and return to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
