High-end North Migration Game Package Safari

After arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro / Arusha), your private driver guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation for dinner and overnight awaiting for your safari departure on the following day.

Early morning after breakfast, we check out at the lodge and drive straight toArusha airport to catch a flight at 1000hrs and fly to Manyara airstrip (arriving at 1055hrs) whereby you will be picked up by your driver and drive straight to Ngorongoro Highlands at your accommodation for relaxation. Lunch will be taken on the way to your accommodation.

In the late afternoon or according to time of your choosing, you will do a walking activity on the rim of the crater where you will be taken by your driver guide to the starting point where you will meet your armed ranger and start the walk which is approximately 1-2 hours. You will start your walk on the eastern side of the crater. The track takes you through thick forests accompanied by an armed ranger around the contours of the Ngorongoro Crater rim with stunning views of the crater floor below. You walk on an easy animal trail and may encounter local Masaai with cattle.

After the activity, you will drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: The Highlands

After early breakfast, you will descend down the crater which is almost 600m deep.

The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve which is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. The drive down the into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the bestchance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.

After Lunch and an extensive game drive inside the crater, we head for our luxury lodge in for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, we will checkout at The Lodge on the crater rim and drive to Manyara Airstrip to catch your flight at 0835hrs to Kogatende Airstrip (arrival at 1030hrs), Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver guide who will brief you and proceed with game viewing on the north Serengeti following the great migration of wildebeests and Zebras.

Whilst the Serengeti boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The precise timing of the Migration is entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year. During End of July to September the Migration can be found in the Northern Serengeti where they are crossing the Mara River following the greener pastures of Maasai Mara where the provide the Mara river resident Nile crocodiles with annual fist.

After Lunch and an extensive game drive, we head for our luxury partner tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Lemala Mara Camp

Early Morning after breakfast you will continue with your game drive in the Northern region. Mara river crossing is one of the must see in Serengeti and totally one of the most spectacular events in Serengeti. Many wildebeests perish trying to reach the mineral rich grass of Maasai Mara where they will spend at list 2 months before they start to migrate again to their ancestral birthing Ground Southern Ndutu where it will all start again. After a full day game drive and hopefully a sight of the crossing we will be back to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

You will spend 3 nights at Lemala Mara Camp.

Wildebeest Calving: This is the peak birthing season in the southern Serengeti (specifically the Ndutu region). Over 500,000 wildebeest calves are born in a matter of weeks.

Intense predator activity: Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas linger close by, waiting to target vulnerable newborns.

Beautiful scenery: The landscape is vibrant, lush, and green, which is perfect for photography.

The Catch: It can get quite warm and humid, and occasional afternoon showers are still possible.

After breakfast and a bit of relaxation at your accommodation in Serengeti, you will be transferred straight to Kogatende airstrip to catch your flight at 1015hrs and fly to Arusha airport where you will reach at around 1220hrs. Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha, one of our representatives will meet you and receive feedback regarding your trip. If you have a destination of your choice e.g. Zanzibar, we will book that flight for you or you can choose to book on your own. If you are flying back home, we will drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight.
