Day 1: Machame Gate (1,800m) – Machame Camp (3,000m)

After breakfast, drive from Moshi to Machame Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest, where you may spot monkeys and colorful birds. Arrive at Machame Camp for dinner and your first overnight stay.

Day 2: Machame Camp (3,000m) – Shira Camp (3,840m)

Leave the rainforest behind and hike into the moorland zone. Enjoy stunning views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro's western slopes before reaching Shira Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Shira Camp (3,840m) – Lava Tower (4,630m) – Barranco Camp (3,960m)

Today's trek follows the "climb high, sleep low" principle. Hike to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This day helps your body adjust to the altitude while offering incredible scenery.

Day 4: Barranco Camp (3,960m) – Karanga Camp (4,035m)

Start the day by climbing the famous Barranco Wall, one of the most exciting sections of the route. Continue across valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp, where you'll rest and prepare for the next stage.

Day 5: Karanga Camp (4,035m) – Barafu Camp (4,640m)

A shorter hike leads you to Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt. After lunch, relax, organize your gear, enjoy an early dinner, and get some sleep before your midnight ascent.

Day 6: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – Mweka Camp (3,100m)

Begin your summit climb just after midnight. Pass Stella Point before reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest, then continue to Mweka Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Mweka Camp (3,100m) – Mweka Gate (1,640m)

After breakfast, descend through the beautiful rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate before driving back to Moshi, where your unforgettable 7 Days Kilimanjaro Climbing via Machame Route with Tanzania Crown Safari comes to an end.
