Your private driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha at 7:30 AM, and after a short briefing, you’ll head southwest toward Tarangire National Park. The drive is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours via scenic, paved roads.
Midday to Afternoon Safari:
Upon arrival, your adventure begins. Tarangire is renowned for its immense concentration of elephants, particularly from June to October, when the Tarangire River becomes the main water source during the dry season.
