” Geological history suggests that the crater was once a towering mountain, rivaling Mount Kilimanjaro, before volcanic activity led to its collapse, forming the present-day caldera.

Descending into the expansive crater, spanning 102 square miles and surrounded by 2,000-foot-high walls, promises exceptional wildlife sightings. Notably, the Ngorongoro is one of the few habitats where the endangered black rhinoceros can still be observed.

Enjoy a scenic lunch break at the hippo pool before continuing the game drive, culminating at Lake Magadi. Here, a vibrant congregation of pink flamingos, alongside hippos and diverse bird species, awaits your discovery.
