Your safari begins at 8:30 AM with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha (or Moshi). You’ll drive through scenic landscapes to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River that draws countless animals. On your game drive, keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and more. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the evening, you’ll head to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is home to an extraordinary density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, and the rare black rhino.
You’ll enjoy a 5-hour game drive, followed by a picnic lunch near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend out of the crater and begin your journey back. You’ll be dropped off in Arusha or Moshi by early evening, marking the end of your safari adventure.
