Morning: After a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport (Kilimanjaro/Arusha), you will meet your private guide and embark on your journey. A scenic drive takes you to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its stunning savannah landscape dotted with ancient baobab trees and the highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania.
Afternoon: Enjoy a full game drive through the park. Keep your camera ready for massive herds of elephants, often seen mingling at the Tarangire River. You are also likely to spot lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a plethora of bird species, including the iconic Kori bustard.
Evening: As the day cools, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge. Settle into your luxurious accommodation, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax amidst the serene coffee plantations on the outskirts of Karatu.
Morning: An early start is key today.
