The Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari Odyssey

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by a representative who will transfer you to your accommodation in the Karatu region. The journey from the airport to your destination typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, providing a scenic drive through rural Tanzanian landscapes.

The accommodation in Karatu offers a comfortable and intimate atmosphere, set in a tranquil area, perfect for relaxation after your travels. The rooms feature en-suite bathrooms with views of the surrounding environment, ensuring a peaceful and restful stay. You will enjoy a full-board meal plan, including dinner and overnight accommodation

For your first evening, a delicious dinner will be served, offering a variety of Tanzanian and international dishes. Enjoy a relaxing meal and prepare for the days ahead, resting comfortably in your mid-range accommodation.

On Day 2, after breakfast at your accommodation, you will be transferred to Serengeti National Park. The drive from Karatu to Serengeti typically takes around 4 to 5 hours, passing through the picturesque landscapes of the Ngorongoro Highlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Established in 1951, the Serengeti is home to the "Big Five" (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos) as well as numerous other species, including cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and an incredible variety of birds. The park is divided into several regions, each offering unique safari experiences.

you will continue exploring the park with a game drive, where you can spot various wildlife, enjoy the stunning landscapes, and take in the Serengeti’s vast savannah.

In the evening, you will head to your accommodation within the Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at your Serengeti accommodation, you will depart from the Serengeti and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, an incredible natural wonder. The drive from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, with a stop for a picnic lunch along the way.

Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its dense concentrations of wildlife, making it one of the best places in the world for a wildlife safari.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots within the crater area before heading into the crater floor for a game drive. The unique ecosystem of the crater offers a chance to spot animals in a more concentrated area, and the landscape is truly breathtaking.

After the safari, you will make your way back to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay. Your accommodation will offer a comfortable and peaceful environment, ensuring you have a satisfying dinner and rest after your thrilling day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater.

On your final day, you will enjoy breakfast at your Karatu accommodation before being transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport for your departure. The drive to either airport takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on your flight schedule.
